[ Precautions ] 1. Make sure that the paper is properly set before printing because failing to do so can damage the printer. 2. You may see some rust on the end surfaces as plated steel sheet is used for most of metal plates (pressed parts) in the mechanical section. 3. Initial print results may be light when using the printer at lower temperatures as the thermal head is not warm enough when starting printing operation. 4. Printing may cause bleed when using at higher temperature. 5. Continuous printing, especially printing totally black or houndstooth check, may cause contamination in the recording paper due to the vapor from the paper. 6. Call us when you’re planning to use the product in an environment where the product may be subject to external vibration. Even subtle vibration can cause unexpected error when it is applied to the product for a long time due to the secondary failure beside direct failure. 7. Radio noise generated by radio transmitters nearby may cause failure of the products. |
[ Warning ] 1. Don’t directly touch the portion of the product such as near the thermal head and the motor surface during and right after printing operation as these are very hot. 2. Don’t power on the printer when you see dew condensation on/in the product. If you see condensation, wait until the condensation disappears, and then power on the printer. 3. Make sure both of the paper and platen are clean and not contaminated. 4. Don’t pull off the paper (forward and backward) when the head is at down position. |
[ Warranty period and repair period ] 1. The warranty period of the printer shall be six months after the shipment. 2. The warranty shall cover neither the product whose warranty period has expired nor the failure caused by the user, for example, use of the product exceeding the specified ranges, damage by being dropped when in use, natural disasters, etc., even before warranty expiration date. 3. The warranty shall not cover any failure of the product even before the warranty expiration date if the product had been used longer than its product lifetime. 4. Repair service shall be available for five years after the discontinuance of the product. 5. Note that some of parts such as mechanical parts may be replaced not individually but as a whole unit because we don’t expect to individually repair such parts. 6. Note in advance that we accept no responsibly for any claims for loss, lost profit, and the like caused by the use of the product. |
